The bitter khae flowers and young fruit are edible, and the bark is medicinal. In Isane area of Thailand, Dok Khae is also very popular for edible. Multi-menu food for cooking with Dok Khae such as: soup mixed with many vegetable, soup with poke or fish and some time use for tubular to put meat is look like sausage. young fruits is also seem for cooking like flowered.
